This magazine cover captures the essence of traveling to Seoul, my hometown. Seoul, for me, is a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements. The individual featured on the cover is adorned in traditional attire complemented by modern accessories like goggles, symbolizing the coexistence of heritage and contemporary influences.
With the theme centered around travel, my aim was to incorporate diverse cultural elements, including places, clothing, and cuisine.
The background showcases a patterned design inspired by a traditional location in Seoul, creating a visually captivating setting. Additionally, in the foreground, I included a dish of bibimbap, a traditional Korean meal with various ingredients, symbolizing unity—a culinary tradition that has persisted through the ages.
Positioned in the center-left, the subtitle is presented in Korean to seamlessly align with the overall illustration. Translated, it signifies "dreamy August," evoking a sense of wanderlust and blissful imagination associated with travel in a dreamlike state.
